"As Mark Twain said 'When I found I could make a living talking I stopped doing much else'. It's very enjoyable to have anyone wanting your advice; to listen to your ideas, opinions, foibles and preconceptions. Even more so if there are many attentively striving to catch every word.
Pontificating on a hobby, or hobby-horse, is easy. Answering the questions after; harder but more rewarding as it's then I might learn something. In many ways it's like seduction; you have to win an audience over, enchant them, take them out of themselves and leave them exhausted and content."
