Nick Federoff hosted a flower competition at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Many celebrities like Phillis Diller, Richard Karn and others submitted flowers from their gardens. When Rip Taylor walked in the moved all the other flowers out of the way, created a Rip Taylor Flower Shrine with candles, a photo and a rose that actually won the competition.
